Remember “It’s the economy, stupid?”  Well, Bush was interrupting one of my daily judge shows talking about how the help our government just gave Fannie Mae DIDN’T help. DUH! It’s the economy stupid!  If I owe you $50 bucks, and my mommy gives me $25 to give to you, that’s nice and all, but now she’s broke, I’m still broke and still owe you $25!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The price of everything goes up.  It’s not just because of a hurricane, or blah, blah, blah, it’s all of it combined.  The value of our dollar, trade deficits, financial aid to other countries, our dependence on foreign oil (what ever happened to our nations INDEPENDENCE from other nations?), supply/demand, and of course our nation’s REAL main product/money maker is entertainment.  SELFISH….

That reminds me of the ’80s-the ME decade.  I had a cashier job in high school, did my school work, but you know, we we’re not well off by any means.  So, I won SO MANY concert tickets from radio stations it was unbelievable!!! I’d win them first so my parents couldn’t tell me I couldn’t go!  It worked every time. Once on my birthday, I got to see Motley Crue (girls, girls, girls tour) with Whitesnake openning at Alpine Valley in Wisconsin.  Best birthday ever! 

I believe the last concert I’ve been to was The Horde Tour right after Jerry Garcia died.  I got to see Ziggy Marley, Blues Travelor, Dave Matthews Band, and The Black Crowes.  It was awesome! But that was in ‘98.  I became a mom in ‘99 so that’s all I’ve got to say about that…

Anywho, back to the economy.  People can’t pay their mortgages which means the banks and mortgage companies don’t get their money, therefore no more profits to pay for all of their expenses, and more workers have less money to feed their families.  (But yet if you grow your own food, you are a psycho survivalist).  America isn’t allowed to anything for herself anymore because we have to be “good neighbors” in this all for one, global community.  We’ve been torn away from our roots as a nation and sometimes it’s hard to understand exactly where we are standing united.
